Nozzle colors, which are standard across most manufacturers, indicate spray angle. Nozzles may come in a set of white (40°), green (25°), yellow (15°) and red (0°). 

Nozzles in certain colors are all the same, right? 

No. Even though nozzles are color-coded, they still have different hole sizes to fit the end of your lance. Your user manual will tell you which size nozzle you need. You can tell what size a nozzle is by looking at the stamp on its side. 

How do I know which type of nozzle I need? 

The pressure specifications and flow rate of your unit will indicate which nozzle will work best for your application. For example, a low flow rate with a small spray pattern is safer for spraying high up, while a wide spray and high flow is ideal for working quickly. Nozzles with wide, even sprays and low-pressure outputs are popular for soft washing because the output won’t damage surfaces. 

Brass and stainless steel nozzles are preferred for their durability. 

Soft Wash Nozzle Holders 

Nozzle holders enable you to use a single lance instead of a dual lance to achieve low-pressure chemical applications and output high-pressure sprays. You get greater flexibility in choosing the lance length you need and a lighter, less expensive setup compared to dual lances.
